He was the wonderful husband of 58 years to Kathryn Lorinchak Osborne. He was blessed with four children; Jill (Ron) Auther; Joni (Bill) Hugland; Jon Osborne; and Joy (J.K.) Folmar Jr. He was a Godly grandfather to Ronnie (Alyssa) Auther; Jennifer (Isaac) Younkin; Johnny Folmar; Billy (Ashley) Hugland; Robbie Auther; Becky Hugland; and Jared Folmar; and great-children; David Younkin and Brooke Hugland. Surviving are brothers; Richard; Bert; and Bill Osborne; and many nieces and nephews. Gib was a faithful servant and follower of Jesus Christ; sharing his faith with all he met. He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church all his life. Gib was proud to serve the country he loved as part of the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Gib worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel at Allenport Mill for 35 years. In his retirement; he worked at PIAA Auto Auction. He was welcomed into heaven by his parents; Luke and Edna Muirhead Osborne; sisters; Isabella Gilbert and Jessie Hill; and brother; John Osborne. Funeral services were private. Darnell A. Anderson; 54; of Rayland; Ohio; caught a heaven bound train on Thursday; Aug. 11. He was the son of the late deacon Emmanuel Anderson and Thelma Chapman Anderson. He is survived by wife; Gloria Anderson; of Monessen; two sons; Darnell K. Anderson; of Rayland; Ohio; and Rasheed Anderson; of Monessen; one daughter; Toscha and husband; Marshall Blalock; of Havertown; Pa.; and one grandson; Malek Blalock; of Havertown; brothers; Emmanuel; of San Jose; Calif.; and Leonard and wife; Cynthia Dee; Roscoe and Raven and wife; Jessica; all of Monessen; two sisters; JoAnn Smith; of Uniontown; and Carol Ann Steed; of San Jose; Calif. Preceded in death by siblings MaryAnn; Clarence; and Flora. He was the father-figure to a group of young men in Rayland. He worked as an electrician for the Wheeling-Pitt Steel and was later transferred to the Martin’s Ferry Works. He loved music; cooking; family and friends. Mildred always enjoyed playing cards and; for many years; worked at California University of Pennsylvania as a custodian; but was more known for working at the voting polls on Election Day for over 40 years. Jeannette Lynn Ann Belczyk; 18; of Granby; Colo.; passed away Thursday; June 6; 2002; as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born May 21; 1984; in Greeley; Colo.; the daughter of Barry Belczyk of Granby; Colo.; formerly of Belle Vernon; and Susan Brewer of Phoenix; Ariz. Jenny graduated from Middle Park High School in Granby on May 25; 2002; and had enlisted in the United States Air Force; where she would have begun basic training in August. While in high school; Jenny was an active member of the yearbook staff; the volleyball and track teams; and was named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students – Sports Edition as a result of her accomplishments on the volleyball court and track field. She also enjoyed nature and loved animals. She was an active member of the Young Life Christian Association. In addition to her parents; Jenny is survived by her paternal grandparents; Jack and Helen Belczyk of Belle Vernon; and several aunts; uncles and cousins in the Mon Valley area. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Walter and Doris Apel. A memorial service was held and attended by approximately 500 family members and friends on June 11; 2002; in the Silver Creek Convention Center in Granby. Formerly of Bentleyville; Mrs. Yemiola was a member of Ave Maria Parish and the Bentworth Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are a daughter; Kris Owons and a son; Frank T. Yowonske; Jr.; both of Big Pine Key; Florida; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her dear cousin Rose.
