Mary (Vella) Debsky;age 91 of Belle Vernon;Pa.passed into the caring arms of her Lord on Sunday;October 9;2011 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born July 3;1920 in California;Pa.;daughter of Joseph Vella and Christina Saccaferro Vella. In addition to her parents;she was predeceased by her husband Alex Debsky; Sr.; 5 brothers; Joseph (1 month); Joseph; Russell; Anthony and Thomas and 3 sisters; Jenny; Sarah and Kathryn.
Surviving is her son Alex Debsky; Jr.; 2 sisters: Josephine Hall and Joanne ‘Jeannie’ Vella; a brother Vincent Vella and many nephews and nieces.

Dorothy Lee Jeffreys; 75; formerly of Belle Vernon and Rostraver Township; passed away on Wednesday; Oct. 5; 2011; in Westmoreland Manor; Greensburg. A daughter of the late Adam and Ann Kurtak Klawcho; she was born in Belle Vernon on July 29; 1936. Dorothy resided in Westmoreland Manor for the past 3 1/2 years. Survivors include two sons; Gregg R. Jeffreys; of Belle Vernon; and Tracy A. Jeffreys; of Belle Vernon; and his girlfriend; Marie Drake; of Hunker; and two sisters; Nancy Rocco and her husband; Tom; of Monessen; and Patty Testy and her husband; Dan; of Pricedale. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Norman R. Jeffreys; in 2001. There will be no public visitation. Judith A. Zimmerman; 68; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Saturday; Sept. 17; 2011. A daughter of the late Willis J. and Katherine Lynch Hough; she was born in North Charleroi on Oct. 29; 1942. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 14 years; Judy was formerly of North Charleroi and was a member of the Christian Center Church of Belle Vernon. She had been employed for several years at the former Mellon Bank of Monessen; attended and graduated from Massage Therapy school; and then worked part-time at First Federal Savings Bank in Monessen. Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law; Virginia and Paul Beatty; of Fallowfield Township and Betty and Charles Purdy; of Streetsboro; Ohio; one sister-in-law; Janice Zimmerman; of Belle Vernon; a special great-niece; Ashley K. Zabich; of Streetsboro; Ohio; and several nieces; nephews and cousins. Emma Elmer;19;of Belle Vernon;died Monday May 6;1907;of brain fever. She was born in 1888;the daughter of Samuel John and Annie Belle Treasure Elmer. In addition to her parents;she is survived by a sister;Frances May Elmer and a brother;Joseph M.Elmer. She would have graduated from the California Normal School this year but was compelled to rest up on account of illness brought on by over study. Her funeral services were conducted at the late home at 1 o’clock on Wednesday; May 8;1907. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Marcia Dawn Trilli; 52; formerly of Monessen; died Monday; Sept. 26; 2011; in The Greenery in Canonsburg. She was born in North Charleroi on Feb. 19; 1959; the daughter of Paul C. Trilli Sr. and Sonja Trilli; who survive and reside in North Charleroi. Marcia grew up in Monessen and had been a resident of Passavant Memorial Homes in Greensburg since 1995. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen. In addition to her parents; she is survived by two sisters and a brother; Collette Hazy; of Charleston; S.C.; Mary Baggott; of Kings Bay; Ga.; and Mark (Patty) Trilli; of Donora; her dear aunts; Anne Bunny Trilli; of Monessen; Victoria (Gerald) Francia; of Monessen; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Attilio and Mary Trilli and Eleanor Askey; and her brother; Paul C. Dolores Lorain Sedlak Veres; 82; of Charleroi; died Thursday; July 12; 2012; in Jefferson Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born April 30; 1930; in Pricedale; the daughter of the late Elizabeth Sedlak and Andrew Sedlak III. Mrs. Veres graduated from Rostraver High School (salutatorian of the Class of 1948) and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church; Charleroi. Mrs. Veres served as a substitute teacher and worked at Head Start and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. She enjoyed books; gardening (especially roses); crocheting; sewing and spending time with her children and their families. Surviving are her husband; Milan (Link) Veres; whom she married on April 14; 1951; children; David L. Veres (Judi); Joseph A. Veres (Paula); Beth Pansino (Larry); Dale E.
