Mrs.Cottingham was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School. She graduated in 1957 from the University of Pittsburgh;where she received a bachelor of science degree. In 1966 she received her masters degree from the University of West Virginia. She retired in 1990 from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Ft.Lyons;Colo.;at which time she moved to Rochester. In addition to her parents;whe was preceded in death by her husband;Huey Cottingham.
