He was born Feb.22;1894;in Elco;a son of the late James W.and Christina Carroll Collins. Mr.Collins was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi and held life memberships in the following organizations: F&AM Lodge 615 of Charleroi;Charleroi Eagles;and VFW Post 167 of Charleroi. A veteran of World War I;he served in the U.S.Army. He was formerly employed at the old Pittsburgh Railway Company;Division 85;as a streetcar operator. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Bess Johnson Collins in 1957;and a son;Robert Jones Collins in 1975. He is survived by a son;Fred G.Collins Jr.of Beaver Falls;a daughter;Mrs.Jane Collins Kibler of Fallowfield Township;four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps
veteran of World War II.

daughter; Mrs. Coleman

He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
