Fayette City; died Thursday;
April 29; 1993; at his residence.
He was born May 21; 1928; in
Fayette City; a son of the late
George Hela and Sophia Dorchincez
Hela.
Mr. Hela was a member of the
Holy Resurrection Orthodox
Church; Belle Vernon. He was a
veteran of the Korean Conflict
and served with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the
Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484
American Legion of Fayette City;
the VFW Post 8543 North
Union Township and the
American Slavonic Club of
Fayette City. He was a retired
employee of Corning Glass Company;
Charleroi Plant.
Mr. Hela is survived by his
wife; Norma Jean (Wright)
Hela; one son; Paul Hela; at
home; one daughter; Mrs.
Gregory (Kathy Jean) Goode of
Uniontown; one granddaughter;
Jessica Lee Goode; one sister;
Mrs. John (Anna) Kushnar of
Fayette City; and two brothers;
John Hela of Perryopolis R.D 2
and Charles Hela of Perryopolis
R.D. 1.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by four
brothers; George Hela; Mike
Hela; Pete Hela and Andrew
Hela.

William Hatalowich Sr ; 74; of
Perryopolis R D 2; died Saturday; March 13;1993; at his home.
He was born in Ella Hollow;
Aug 28; 1918; a son of the late
Michael and Anna Kohut
Hatalowich.
Mr. Hatalowich was a member of the Holy Resurrection Church of Belle Vernon and
had lived at Perryopolis R D 2 for the past 42 years; having
formerly resided in Monessen.
He was an active farmer and
formerly owned and operated;
with his brothers; the Monessen
Taxi Company. He was also an
employee of the former Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant;
from where he retired in 1962. At
the plant he ran the charging
machine in the open hearth.
Mr. Hatalowich is survived by
his wife; Katherine Mohus
Hatalowich; three sons; William
M. Hatalowich Jr and Robert
Hatalowich; both of Perryopolis
R D 2; and Michael Hatalowich
of Gillespie; three daughters;
Mrs. Lawrence (Georgiann)
Shebodnik and Mrs. Randy
(Marilyn) Smalley; both of Perryopolis R D 2; and Mrs Ronald
(Patricia) Minor of Belle Vernon; three brothers; Frank

Mr. Huston was a retired
steelworker; having worked at
Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Company; Monessen Plant.
He moved to Monessen 47
years ago. He was a steward
with the Wayman AME Church;
Monessen; and a member of the
George Washington Carver
Lodge No. 8 AF&AM of West
Newton for many years; until it
merged with St. James Lodge
No. 7 AF&AM; Monessen; where
he was past junior deacon and
tyler.
Mr. Huston is survived by a
daughter; Stephanie Huston
Brown Workman of Monessen; a
granddaughter; Nikole Brown;
two great-granddaughters;
Stephanie Amber and Cynthea
Nicholle; a brother; Glover Lee
Huston of Verona Beach; Fla.;
and nieces; nephews and
friends.

three brothers; Forrest; Adolph
and Freddie Lee; and three
