Roderick Morgan Holiday of 121 Linden Ave.;Monessen;died Saturday;August 9;1986 in Allegheny General Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 17. He was born June 15;1969 in Duchess County;N.Y.;a son of James and Janice Bauer Holiday;with whom he made his home. He spent most of his life in Monessen. He was a member of the St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;and was a student at Mon Valley Catholic High School;where he would have been a senior;and was captain of the varsity football team and a member of the Ski Club and Future Business Leaders of America. He was a member of the Mon Valley YMCA and midget league sports in Monessen. In addition to his parents;he is survived by a brother;Erin Patrick;living at home;a sister;Suzette Sanchez of Lawton;Ohio;his maternal grandparents;Ernest and Evelyn Bauer of Perryopolis;and his paternal grandmother;Pauline Mancinelli of Monessen. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:15 p.m. in St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;with Father William Terza;former headmaster at Mon Valley Catholic High School;as celebrant.
