George (Yorkey) Himich; 70; of
330 Spiker Ave.; Belle Vernon; died
Monday; July I8; 1988; al 1 p.m. at his home.
He was born Feb. 28; 1918; in
Monessen; the son of the late John
and Mary Fuscsich Himich.
Mr. Himich had lived in Fairhope
for 46 years and was a member of
the Washington Township Volunteer
Fire Department. He and his wife;
the former Helen Glister; had been
married 47 years.
Mr. Himich retired in 1971 from
the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; where he had
worked in the blooming mill. He was
a member of United Steel Workers
Local 1229; of Monessen.
In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by two sisters;
Martha Sevastacis and Mary Popik.
Surviving are his wife; Helen
Glister Himich: one son and
daughter-in-law; Ronald and Betty
Himich of Fayette City; and four
grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.; 700
Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Timothy R.Eyring of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.

Born Jan.30;1956;in Gallatin;she was the daughter of Darrell Garner of Norwalk;Conn.;and Anna Lee Harris Tarpley of Donora;both of whom survive. In addition to her parents;she is survived by her husband;Robert A.Hailey;of Baltimore;Md.;a son;Raymond;and two daughters;Fiona and Donna;all at home;two brothers;James Tarpley of Monessen and Robert Tarpley of Scranton;two sisters;Patricia Harris of Baltimore and Stacey Tarpley of Monessen;and several aunts;uncles;nieces;nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Percy E.Law Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Gallatin;with the Rev.Louis Covington officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Gertrude Hepple;of Marion Villa;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;March 22;1988;at 7 a.m. in Country Care Manor;Fayette City R.D.1;after a short illness. She was born in Duquesne;Jan.2;1913;a daughter of the late George R.and Harriett Irwin Hepple. She was Protestant by faith. Surviving are her husband;Arthur Haney;two sons;Edward Hepple of Charleroi and Gene Hepple of Fayette City; a daughter;Joy Folle of Daisytown;and three grandchildren;Chris;Melinda and Jeremy Hepple of Charleroi. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. A U.S.Army veteran of WW II;he was a member of VFW Post 3557 of Belle Vernon. He lived in Belle Vernon since 1950;having lived in North Charleroi prior to that. He retired in 1975 from Corning Glass Corp.;Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;John. Surviving are his wife of 46 years;Ann Plevel Husovitz;two daughters;Mrs.Bruce (Kathleen) Newstat of Ventnor;N.J.and Mrs.David (Maryann) Pierallini of Peters Twp.;one sister;Mrs.Mary Disanti of Charleroi;and two grandchildren;David and Amy Newstat. Hospital. He was 90.
Mr. Hewitt was born in Caldwell;
W. Va; on May 4;1937; a son of the
late Frank and Ida Gladys Bradley
Hewitt.
He was Protestant by faith and
also was a construction worker.
In addition to his parents; he was
preceded in death by a sister;
Dorothy May Hewitt.
Survivors include three sons; Raymond Jr. amd Donald; both of New
Jersey; and Timothy of West
Virginia; a daughter Renee of West
Virginia; five brothers; Henry
Hewitt of Charleroi; Albert Hewitt of
Allenport; Ernest Hewitt of
Charleroi and Julian and Jesse Hewitt;both of Fallowfield Twp.;
