Frank Glister.
She is survived by a son;
Ronald; and daughter-in-law;
Betty Himich of Fayette City;
four grandchildren; two
brothers; Andrew Glister of
Fairhope; Belle Vernon and
John Glister of Clarkesville;
Pa.; and one sister; Mrs. George
(Ann) Relich of Fairhope; Belle
Vernon.
Friends will be received at the
Howard W. McCrory Funeral
Home; Fayette City; Saturday from
7 to 9 p.m.; Sunday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 10:30 a.m.when a Blessing service will be held in the funeral home with Rev. Father Thomas G.Rinn;pastor of Holy Spirit R.C.Catholic Church;Fayette City;officiating. She was born in Washington Township on July 14;1901;a daughter of the late Oliver and Hannah Daugherty Hileman. Mrs.Hoffman was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon R.D.3;the Rostraver Grange 919;the Harmony Ladies Auxiliary;and the Fayette City Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents;whe was preceded in death by her husband;Clarence Hoffman on Feb.1;1970. She is survived by three sons;Clarence Hoffman Jr.of Belle Vernon R.D.3;David W.Hoffman of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Ray B.Hoffman of Belle Vernon R.D.3;three daughters;Mrs.Ann Novak Horner of Fayette City;Mr.Wallace (Mae) Sadosky of Coal Center R.D.1;and Mrs.George (Virginia) Andrako of Charleroi R.D.2;a sister;Mrs.Edna Breckenridge of Fayette City;18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Margaret Hammitt of Monessen died Wednesday;Oct.25;1989;at 3:25 a.m.in Westmoreland Hospital;Greensburg. She was 82. Mrs.Hammitt was born Oct.12;1907;in Pittsburgh;a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Balas Melarkey. Residing in Monessen;she was a member of St.Leonard Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. In addition to her parents whe was preceded in death by her husband;Herman Hammitt;in 1976;and by s sister;Agnes Volley. Survivors include a daughter;Ruth Hammitt Bradley of Monessen;three sons;Robert A.Hammitt Sr.;Norman L.Hammitt and Thomas E.Hammitt;all of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.John B.(Dorothy) Kozar of Charleroi and Mrs.Steve (Catherine) Cmar of Fayette City;one brother;Harry Melarkey of Charleroi;15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Robert James Heide;54;of 138 Kelly Ave.;Belle Vernon;died on Thursday;July 13;1989;at 5:40 a.m.in Presbyterian University Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was born Oct.7;1934;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Robert J.Heide. Mr.Heide was also preceded in death by his grandparents;Frank and Sarah McLaughlin Hart. He is survived by his wife;Norma Erdos Heide;one son;Jimmy Heide at home;and his mother;Jean Hart Heide of Belle Vernon. Mr.Heide was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He was a 1953 graduate of Bellmar High School in North Belle Vernon. Mr.Heide was employed for 30 years as a systems technician for Bell Telephone and AT&T. He was a member of the Russian Club of Charleroi. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon.
