He was born in Washington Township;Fayette County;Jan.14;1906;son of the late Albert and Flora Etta (Scanlon) Hall. He was Protestant by faith. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II and was a member of Brightwell-Daughterty American Legion Post #484;Fayette City. He was a retired coal miner.
