She was born in Belle Vernon on April 22;1934;the daughter of the late Harry and Elizbeth Jane Turnbull Sethman. Mrs.Seibert was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. She was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband;Thomas E.Seibert;three daughters;Mrs.Alex (Sheila) Carocci and Pamela Manack;both of Perryopolis;and Frances Seibert at home;three brothers;Richard Sethman;Carmichael;Harry Sethman Jr.;Belle Vernon;and Howard Sethman;Southgate;Calif.;six sisters;Mrs.Margaret Carr;Mrs.Ethel Venneri;Mrs.Hannah Bennett;and Mrs.Florence Weaver;all of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Dorothy Rainey;Denbo;and Mrs.Martha Warner;Springfield;Ohio;and two granddaughters. Vernon died Saturday;March 17;1979; in
Holyoke; Mass. She was 72.
Born in Belle Vernon on July
24; 1907; she was the daughter
of the late Robert D. and
Corabelle Reeves Springer.
A member of one of Belle
Vernon’s oldest families;Miss
Springer was a graduate of
California State College and
taught in the Belle Vernon
School District for 44 vears
until her retirement in 1970.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
a brother; Joseph Springer;
and a sister; Helen S. Russell;
who died Jan. 18;1979.
She is survived by two
sisters; Mrs. William S.
(Clara) Jones of Belle Vernon
and Mrs William S. (Sara)
Jeffries of State College; and
several nieces and nephews.
A joint memorial service
will be held for Miss Springer
and Mrs. Russell in Belle
Vernon on a date to be announced.
