Mr.Rocca was a member of Gospel Alliance Church of Charleroi. He was a well-known softball player in the Mon Valley. A U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam War;Mr.Rocca was a retired sheet metal worker for Corning Glass Works in Charleroi.
