Victor F.Silvestro of 812 Speer St.;Belle Vernon;retired owner and operator of Vic’s Clothing Store of North Belle Vernon;died Monday morning;Aug.6;1979;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. He was 69. Mr.Silvestro was born April 1;1910;in California;Pa.;a son of the late Charles and Madeline Silvestro. He was a member and past president of North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department;a member of the Westmoreland County Fireman’s Asociation;a charter member;past president and privileged member of Belle Vernon Lions Club;and a member of Monongahela Valley Country Club. Mr.Silvestro retired from the clothing store business in January 1977. Surviving are his widow;Jean Caruso Silvestro;two daughters;Mrs.Charles (Norma) McKime of Indianapolis;Ind.;and Vicki Silvestro at home;two sisters;Mary Silvestro of California;Pa.;and Mrs.Teresa Dunn of Whitehall;a brother;Joseph Silvestro in Florida;and three grandchildren. Friends are being received today (Tuesday) from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a private prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers;the family suggests that memorial contributions in Mr.Silvestro’s name be made to the Heart Fund.

Mr.Sickels was born Nov.27;1902;the son of the late Robert and Myrtle Davis Sickels. He was retired from the electrical department of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a life member of the Monessen Fire Department.
