Andrew Jock Senich;72;of Belle Vernon R.D.5 (Gibsonton);died at 9:35 a.m.Saturday;Dec.7;1991;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Senich was born April 22;1919;in Monessen;a son of the late Aftanas and Anna Shikula Senich. He retired in 1981 as a millright at the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Senich had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for 45 years. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. Mr.Senich was a member of St.John The Divine Orthodox Church;Monessen;where he had served as a member of the parish church council for many years. He was a member and adjutant of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659;and was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks;Charleroi Lodge No.494. Mr.Senich was also a member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and the AARP. A brother;Michael Sparky Senich;is deceased. Surviving are his wife;Loretta Cupp Senich;two sons;Bary Senich of Harrisburg and Gregory Lawrence Senich of Denver;Colo.;one daughter;Mrs.Robert (Andrea) Spisak;of West Mifflin;three brothers;John;Nicholas and Paul Senich;all of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.Michael (Mary) Dankanich of Fairless Hills;Mrs.Joseph (Anna) Kozma of Monessen and Mrs.Harry (Kathryn) Podany of Monongahela;and two grandchildren;Lori and Bobby Spisak. Rocco L.Sciore Sr.;58;333 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly on Monday;Oct.21;1991;at Uniontown Hospital at 12:37 p.m. He was born on April 12;1933;in Beaver Falls;a son of the late Salvatore Sciore;who died in 1970;and Mary Clausi Sciore;who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. Mr.Sciore was a former mayor of North Belle Vernon Borough where he served as a police officer. He resided in North Belle Vernon for 30 years and was Catholic by faith. Mr.Sciore was a member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department and was an operating engineer for Lane Construction Company. He was also a member of Local 66 of Operating Engineers. He was a veteran of the U.S.Navy and served in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his father;he was preceded in death by one sister;Vivian Igoe.
