Hospital; Kissimmee; Fla.
Mrs. Staup was born June 4;
1902; in Speers; a daughter of the
late John and Elizabeth Stanley
Nichol.
She moved from Charleroi to
Florida in 1982.
Mrs. Staup was a member of
the First United Methodist
Church; Kissimmee; Fla.
Surviving are two daughters;
Mrs. Shirley A. Wood of Kissimmee; Fla.; and Emily M. Osmon
of St. Petersburg Beach; Fla.;
one son; George Harford of
Tampa; Fla.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
There will be no public
visitation.
Graveside services will be
held at 11 a.m. Monday; Jan. 20;
in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

William (Kayo) Swaney Jr.;78;of California;Pa.;formerly of Roscoe;died at 10:50 p.m. Monday;Jan.13;1992;in Brownsville General Hospital;Brownsville;following a lengthy illness. Mr.Swaney was born Jan.5;1914;in Vesta;Washington County;a son of the late William Swaney Sr.and Ethel McCrory Swaney. He was a retired employee of the former Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. A Protestant by faith;Mr.Swaney was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Carl (Carol) Wolford of Monessen and Mrs.Thomas (Wilma) Brandon of Romulus;Mich.;four grandchildren;Thomas Brandon of Romulus;Mich.;Cristine Conrad of Flat Rock;Mich;Robert Wolford of West Newton and Carla Wolford of Monessen;one great-granddaughter;Michelle Brandon;of Romulus;Mich.;one brother;Louis Swaney of Monessen;and two sisters;Elizabeth Swaney of Charleroi and Mrs.Norman (Beverly) Robbins of Roscoe. Friends will be received in the Howard W.Mccrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 11 a.m. on Friday;when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.Gerald R.Dunlap of the Smithton Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Stewart was a member
of Harmony Presbyterian
Church; Belle Vernon R.D.
In addition to her parents; she
was preceded in death by her
husband; William Stewart in
1973.
She is survived by a son;
Vernon D. Stewart of El Monte;
Calif.; one daughter; Sandra L.
Kenzie of Aptos; Calif.; four
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be Thursday;Dec.26;1991;in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to a charity of ones choice. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home of Fayette City is in charge of the arrangements.
