70 years; she was Presbyterian
by faith.
Mrs. Whitaiaw was a member of the Belle Vernon Woman’s Club and volunteered for
many years for the American
Cancer Society.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
her husband; Robert E. Whitelaw;in 1987. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;Mrs.Wozniak was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper. An active member of the Belle Vernon United Methodist Church;she had also served as choir director for the Monessen United Methodist Church and the Acme United Methodist Church. Survivors include two half-brothers;Albert Davenport of Denver;Colo.;and Robert Zeitz of Charleston;W.Va. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;Stephen Hayduk. Charles E.Watts;75;of Donora;died Thursday;;Aug. 21;1997;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born June 4;1922;in North Charleroi;he was a son of the late Albert C.and Josephine Morgan Watts. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Monongahela;where he was chairman of the Class Leaders and a past coordinator of the church food bank. Mr.Watts was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; Monessen plant.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II.
Mr. Watts had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

He was born Feb.16;1914;in Monongahela;a son of the late Charles and Lillian McClain Wallace. Mr.Wallace was a member of the Pricedale Union Church and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. He lived in the Belle Vernon area for the past 60 years. He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Monessen Plant in 1976. On June 29;1935;he married Marie Trozzo Wallace;with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage this past June 29.
