most of his life. He retired in
1975 from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Monessen Plant; where he had
worked as a clerk.
Survivors include two sisters;
Mrs. Wilfred (Lois) Taylor of
Fellsburg; and Vera Mahoney of
Phoenix; Ariz..
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
sisters; Elaine Zollars and Hilda
Zollars; who died Nov. 2;1990.
Friends will be received
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral

She was a resident of Monessen for many years. She attended St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen. She was a member of the Ladies Italian Mutual Aid Society;Monessen. She was also past president of the Ladies Society of the N.I.P.A. Survivors include three daughters;Norma Sacchini of Willowick;Ohio;Dolores (Dolly) O’Toole of Richmond;Va.;Mrs.C.Eugene (Gloria) Baker of West Newton;nine grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Diego Zambelli in December 1952;and one son;Theodore Zambelli;who died at age four. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where funeral srvices will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.with the Rev.Ronald Schlak officiating. He was born Feb. 28; 1917; in
Belle Vernon; a son of the late
Arthur and Corrine Monti
Zucconi.
Mr. Zucconi was a lifelong
resident of Belle Vernon.
From 1938 until 1988 when he
retired; he was the owner of Zucconi
Distributing Company of
Belle Vernon.
Mr. Zucconi was a life
member of the North Belle Vernon
Fire Department; a
member of the Belle Vernon
American Legion and many
social clubs throughout the Mon
Valley.
Survivors include his; wife;
Thelma Andrews Zucconi; two
sons and daughters-in-law;
Homer R. II and Barbara Zucconi
of Sweeney Plan; Belle Vernon; and George A. and Sharon
Zucconi of Upper St. Clair; one
daughter and son-in-law; Debra
and Charles Schoentag of Columbus; Ohio; one sister; Brunie
Reilly of Fort Lauderdale; Fla.;
and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by three
sisters; Olga Venneri; Fausca
Pierallini and Lenora Zucconi;
and three brothers. Gaccinto;
Cammello and Leon Zucconi.
There will be no public visitation. A family committal service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.in the chapel of the Belle Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Dr.Thomas St. Clair;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. If friends wish;donations may be made to their favorite charity. Mr.Zadrozny was born Jan.6;1922;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a son of Edna Sohaski Zadrozny;who survives and resides in Fairhope;Belle Vernon;and the late Andrew Zadrozny;who died March 14;1980. He was a retired employee of the former Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Zadrozny was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St.Hyacinth Roman Catholic Church;Monessen. In addition to his father;Mr.Zadrozny was also preceded in death by a son;Edward Anthony Zadrozny;who died April 30;1983;and by a sister;Mrs.Paul (Eleanor) Colas. Surviving;in addition to his mother;are his wife;Lorraine Bisher Zadrozny;three daughters;Mrs.Linda Morgan of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Wells (Cheryl) Hammers of Medina;Ohio;and Mrs.Mark (Sandy) Colabrese of Jefferson Borough;eight grandchildren; and two sisters;Mrs.Walter (Pauline) Ruskiewich of Uniontown and Mrs.Nicholas (Florence) Kutska of Monessen.
