Rebello M. Zanardelli;93;of 737 Green St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Aug.11;1997;at 6:45 a.m.at Adult Assisted Living Inc.;Dunlevy. He was born July 31;1904;in Daisytown;a son of the late Matthew and Maria Paterlini Zanardelli. Mr.Zanardelli was a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 51 years;where he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;the Holy Name Society of the parish and the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He retired from the former Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; where he was employed in the structural shop. Mr.Zanardelli was also a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly.
Survivors include a son and
daughter-in-law; Norman and
Virginia Zanardelli of Roseville; Calif; a daughter; Lois
Vizza of Belle Vernon; one
brother; Ramo Zanardelli of
Charleroi; a sister; Alice Rosini
of Donora; 10 grandchildren;
Gregory J. Vizza of Fredericktown; Valerie L. Coulton and
Rosalyn A. Claman; both of
Dayton; Ohio; Matthew Zanardelli of Bakersfield; Calif.;
Duane Zanardelli of Santa
Cruz; Calif.; Dean Zanardelli of
San Jose; Calif.; Vicki Battin of
Dayton; Ohio; Kristofer Zanardelli; Ryan Zanardelli and Patrick Zanardelli; all of Roseville;
Calif.; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
wife; Dena Pieri Zanardelli on Sept. 22;1977;a brother;Bruno Zanardelli;and two sisters;Zena Ianonne and Edith Hogan. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.E.George Saletrik;Parochial Vicar of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary in the funeral home Wednesday at 3 p.m.;followed by services conducted by Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 at 7 p.m. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Sam Zeli; 81; of 427 Hill St;
Belle Vernon; died Sunday;
Sept. 3; 1995; at 11:07 a.m. in
his home.
Born April 13; 1914; in Italy;
he was the son of the late Vincent and Laura Catinaro Zeli.
A lifelong resident of Belle
Vernon; Mr. Zeli was a member
of St. Sebastian Roman
Catholic Church.
A U.S. Army veteran of
World War II and a recipient of
the Bronze Star; Mr. Zeli was a
50-year member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659.
He was also a member of the
Belle Vernon Golden Age
Assembly.
He retired in 1977 from the
Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Sceel Corp.; where
he had worked as a skilled laborer in the coke plant division.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers; Tony and Furman
Zeh.
Surviving are his wife;
Teresa Clausi Zeli; one son and
daughter-in-law; Vincent and
Helen Zeli of Belle Vernon; two
brothers; Bruno Zeli and William Zeli; both of Belle Vernon;
and two grandsons; Lance Zeli
of Belle Vernon and Sam Zeli of
Youngwood

He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army Air Corps in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters. He was retired from Page Steel and Wire Division April 30;1972;and from Corning Glass Works in Charleroi on Aug.1;1984. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1190. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church;Monessen. Survivors include his wife of 48 years;Mary Hakulin Zazac;one daughter and son-in-law;Karlyn and Jack Bell of Belle Vernon;one son and daughter-in-law;David and Dianne Zazac of Pittsburgh;one granddaughter;Anna Zazac;one sister;Mary Balant of Monessen;and one brother;Robert Zazac of New Stanton. Andy Zip Zabawsky;74;of Charleroi;died Tuesday;Oct.11;1994;at his home. Born Dec.10;1919;in Webster;he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Buberniak Zabawsky. Mr.Zabawsky was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church;Charleroi. He retired from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had been employed in the blast furnace department. After his retirement;he was affliated with Pittsburgh Paint and Glass Company. He was also a member of the SMS Italia Unita;Charleroi. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;serving with the 420th Armored Field Artillery Battalion in the European Theatre. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Wassail Zabawsky. Surviving are his wife;Mildred Stoogie Stetz Zabawsky;one daughter and son-in-law;Madeline (Madge) and Dr.John DuBose of Houston;Texas;two brothers;Samuel Zabawsky of Belle Vernon and Steve Zabawsky of Las Vegas;Nev.;and one sister;Ann Serbak of Belle Vernon.
