died Saturday; June 7;
1997; in Uniontown Hospital.
Born Sept. 11; 1910; in Austria;
he was the son of the late
Frederick and Julia Hofer
Weibl.
Mr. Weibl had been employed
at the Page Division of American
Chain and Cable Co. in
Monessen before retiring in
1972. He was a member of Epiphany
of Our Lord Church;Monessen.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by one
daughter; Juliann Weibl Waggoner;
one sister; Louise Dolan;
and six brothers; John; Fred;
Ed; Raymond; Phillip and Carl
Weibl.
Surviving are his wife; Elizabeth
Davidovich Weibl. with
whom he celebrated 60 years of
marriage; two sons and
daughters-in-law; Randy S. and
Lois Weibl of Dawson and Gary
F. and Andrea Weibl of Campbell;
Calif.; eight grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; one
sister; Ida McElfresh of Monessen;
and one brother; Clarence
Weibl of Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received Monday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;
1209 Grand Blvd.. Monessen. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home chapel;followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.

Lewis E.Wasick;83;of Charleroi;died Tuesday;Dec.24;1996;in the Washington County Health Center. Born Nov.8;1913;in Stockdale;he was a son of the late August and Justina Wasick. Mr.Wasick was Catholic by faith and a member of the Elks Lodge 494 of Charleroi. He was a retired purchasing agent for Washington County. Survivors include his wife;LaVerne Dwyer Wasick;two daughters;Mrs.Jerry (Carole) Valgora of Toronto;Ontario;Canada;and Sharon Dorcan of Atlanta;Ga.;three grandchildren;Kelly Greenwalt and Jay and Derek Valgora;and one sister;Emma Rehula of Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothers;Charles;Joseph and August J.Wasick;and one sister;Margaret Yablonski. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where funeral services will be held Saturday at noon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
