Mrs.Elise Franks;age 82 years;of Charleroi;died in Washington hospital;May 29;1945. She was born in Belgium in 1863. She came to Charleroi about 48 years ago from Irwin;Pa.;and was a member of the Woman’s Benefit Association of Belle Vernon. She is survived by two sons;Joseph Franks of Duquesne and Frank Franks of Charleroi;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Lawrence B.Frye Funeral Home. Jack Foster;died Thursday;March 8;1945;at 2:30 a.m.;at his home;519 Schoonmaker avenue;Monessen;of complications. Mrs. Maria Ferrari;aged 76;died Saturday;January 13;1945 at her home;10 Columbus street;Belle Vernon; after a lingering illness.    A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 43 years; she attended the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi.  She is survived by two sons;Robert;of Fredericktown and Fritz Riley;of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Felix Lazzari and Mrs.Peter Magrini;both of Belle Vernon.  Seventeen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.   Friends will be received at the late home until Tuesday;January 16;1945;when funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.at the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi.  Father N.A.Biondi will have charge of services. Mrs.Mary Ann Failey;age 95 years;formerly of 12 Schoonmaker Avenue;Monessen;died Monday;April 3;1944;at 9 a.m.;after a lingering illness. She was born in England July 20;1848;and was the widow of the late Albert H.Fairley;former paymaster at the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. She is survived by one son;Frank of Belle Vernon;seven grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
