Robert Farquhar;age 52 years;a resident of Belle Vernon for many years;died in the U.S.Veterans hospital at Canandaigua;N.Y.;Monday;August 18;1947;after a lingering illness. Surviving are his stepfather;William Lahew of Belle Vernon;a stepbrother;Harry in Buffalo;N.Y.;and a sister;Mrs.George C.Wall of Donora. The body will be brought to Belle Vernon for full military burial. John D.Frost;aged 59 years;of 142 Fallowfield avenue;Charleroi;died Saturday;July 19;1947;at 5:15 p.m. following a heart attack.
