Susie Fleming of Pricedale;died suddenly at the home of her father;Mr.William Fleming on Monday;Sept.18;1922;at two o’clock p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o’clock with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The young woman was aged about 21 years and was well known in this city;having visited here frequently with friends and relatives. She was a cousin of Mrs.George Monroe on Donner avenue.

ALBERT H. FAIRLEY SR
Albert H. Fairley; an aged and respected resident of this city died Friday morning;December 23;1921 at 2:45 after an illness covering
a period of two weeks. Mr.
Fairley had been in good health until
his last illness; which was caused
by a stroke of paralysis; from which
he could not recover. Despite the severity of the attack; he remained
conscious until about eighteen hours
prior to his death.
The deceased was born in Birmingham;
England in 1832 and came
to this country in 1887; and settled
in Braddock; Pa.; where he held a position with the American Steel and
Wire company at Rankin. When the Pittsburgh Steel company was organized
Mr. Fairley was assigned a responsible position and came to Monessen in the year 1901;as paymaster at the local plant. He held this position continuously for fifteen years;when he retired on account of age. Identifying himself with the town and its leading industry;Mr.Fairley became a loyal Monessenite and always held a deep admiration for the town and its people. He had many close friends to whom he was loyal and devoted. His widow;two sons and six grandchildren survive. The sons are Albert H.Fairley and Frank;both residents of Monessen. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon;December 25;1921;at 2:30 o’clock. Services will be held in the Episcopal Church on Schoonmaker avenue. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
