Robert Farquhar;age 52 years;a resident of Belle Vernon for many years;died in the U.S.Veterans hospital at Canandaigua;N.Y.;Monday;August 18;1947;after a lingering illness. Surviving are his stepfather;William Lahew of Belle Vernon;a stepbrother;Harry in Buffalo;N.Y.;and a sister;Mrs.George C.Wall of Donora. The body will be brought to Belle Vernon for full military burial.
