Mrs.Bertha C.Lewis;a resident of Charleroi until four years ago;died at her home in Saulsbery;Md.;Tuesday;Oct.19;1937. She was born in Providence;R.I.;on March 19;1874;and was 63 years of age at the time of her death. Surviving are her husband;Charles C.and the following step-children;Clarence;Charleston;W.Va.;Ralph;Fallowfield Township;Russell;Lynnwood;Ruth;Elyria;Ohio;and Harold;Stockdale. Funeral services will be held from the home of the step-son;Ralph;Charleroi R.D.1;Saturday afternoon;Oct.23;1937;at 2 o’clock;with services in charge of Rev.Byron R.Mahan;pastor of the First Christian Church;Charleroi. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
