Mrs.Ellen Rose Lahey;wife of Edward Lahey;died Saturday night;Aug.21;1937;at her home;20 Knox avenue;after a short illness. She had been a resident of Monessen for the past 32 years;coming here from Pittsburgh with members of her family. She was a member of St.Leonard’s Church and the Catholic Women’s Club. Surviving are her husband;Edward Lahey and the following children: Mrs.John Tormay;of Monessen and Catherin;David;Nellie;Anna;Agnes and Edward Jr. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services are announced for Tuesday morning;Aug.24;1937; at 9:30 from St.Leonard’s Church;in charge of Father Deet. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Clara May Lambert;aged 29 years;wife of Chester Lambert;of Belle Vernon;died Sunday;September 27;1936;in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She had undergone an operation on Friday of last week;from which pneumonia developed. Surviving are her husband;one son;Richard Graham;a brother;Thomas Mullaney of Crafton;and a sister;Mrs.Catherine Wyke of Carnegie. The body has been taken to the home of Mr.Lambert’s parents;Mr.and Mrs.Charles Lambert;who reside in the Belle Vernon Cemetery;from where the services will be held. Funeral services for Mrs.Chester Lambert will be held Wednesday afternoon September 30;1936;at 2:30 o’clock from the home of Mr.and Mrs.Charles Lambert;who reside in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev.Walter McCullough;pastor of the Baptist Church;will officiate. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
