She was born Feb. 18; 1925; in Charleroi; the daughter of the late August Paytas and Margaret Tesack Paytas. Mrs. Doty had been a member of the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Church of Monessen and presently a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen. Mrs. Doty was a past president of the Christian Mothers; president of the Xenska Jednota Branch 88; financial secretary for the Xenska Jednota Junior Branch 157; and the Western PA Fireman’s Association Auxiliary. She was a former Girl Scout and Campfire leader in Monessen. Mrs. Doty had been employed with the Monessen School District; the American Heart Association of Greensburg; the Probono Office of Westmoreland County Courthouse; worked at American Chain and Cable-Pages Division during the War Effort; and had been the owner-operator and instructor of DD Ceramics in Monessen. He retired in 1989 as an electronic technician for the FAA; working at the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport.
