Albert Peaches Crawley; 77; of Monessen; went home to be with the Lord on Sunday; Jan. 16; 2005; following a lengthy illness at Presbyterian Medical Center in Washington; Pa. He was born in Monessen on Feb. 27; 1927; a son of the late Clarence and Mary Ethel Payne Crawley. He was employed by the Monessen Street Department for over 30 years. Mr. Crawley was Baptist by faith; belonging to Union Baptist Church in Monessen. He was a life member of the Mon Valley Chapter of the NAACP. Mr. Crawley will always be remembered as an avid fan of all sports and loved his Monessen football and basketball teams. He was loved dearly by the teams and fans as well.
