A resident of Belle Vernon since 1939; Mrs. Giuliano was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. She was an original member and past president of the Legion of Mary; past vice president and member of the Catholic Daughters of America; past president and member of the North Belle Vernon Golden Agers; charter member of the Anita Garibaldi and a member of the Women’s Club. Eugene V. Radar Rade; 73; of North Charleroi; formerly of Monessen and Fayette City; passed away Tuesday; July 27; 2004; at 10:10 p.m. in the VA Medical Center; Aspinwall. He was born Nov. 29; 1930; in Naomi; a son of the late Joseph X. and Barbara Cvetan Rade. He was known throughout the Valley for wearing a western hat and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Mr. Rade was a graduate of Marion High School Class of 1948. He then served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Until his retirement; he was employed with the Cleveland Public Library. He was a life member of the Monessen Slovak Home; and also a member of the Ravens Athletic Association and Croatian Fraternal Union 194. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one nephew; Mark A. Rade in 2003.
