Born Dec. 6; 1924; in Fairhope; she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Josephine Scopp Belczyk. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mrs. Sobek was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; a homemaker and a member of the PNA. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; JoAnn Estes of Greensburg; and Wanda M. and William Morrison of Albany; N.Y; a son and daughter-in-law; Richard L. and Tammy Sobek of Strongsville; Ohio; brother and sister-in-law; Raymond and Gloria Belczyk of Monessen; and eight grandchildren; Tara Estes; Jonathan Estes; Christopher Estes; Matthew Morrison; Marisa Morrison; Allison Sobek; Eric Sobek and Anna Rose Sobek. She is preceded in death by her husband; Lawrence Sobek; a brother; Walter Belczyk; and two sisters; Genevieve Lubecki and Irene Sobek.
