John M. Jack Everly; 67; formerly of Washington Township; Belle Vernon; died Friday; Oct. 24; 2008; in Mt. Airy; N.C. A son of the late Matthew and Kathleen Deets Everly; he was born July 21; 1941; in Collinsburg. Jack was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and a former member of both the Washington Township-Fayette City Lions Club and the Fayette City Volunteer Fire Department. Prior to moving to Randleman; N.C.; in 2000; he had lived most of his adult life in Washington Township. He also served in the Army Reserve. Survivors include two sons; John Jack Everly II; of Monongahela; and Nick Albero; one daughter; Susan Freeland; of Charlestown; W.Va.; one sister; Kathleen Roebuck; of Madison; three grandchildren; Ronald Bednar; Sarah Freeland and Mikey Freeland; and two great-grandchildren; Blake Lee Bednar and Isaac Freeland. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Carole Hileman Everly; on April 22; 2005; two sisters; Nellie May Everly and Dorothy Everly; in infancy; and two brothers; Glenn Warren Everly and James William Everly. John E.Jones;91;of Monessen;died on Saturday;September 11;2010 in Jefferson Medical Center. Born in Morgantown;W.Va.on February 11;1919;he was the son of the late Ira B. and Mabel R.Sargent Jones. He retired from the Railway Express Agency. He was a U.S.Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen. He was preceded in death by his wife;Dorothy G.Bender Jones. He is survived by his daughter;Kathleen Anderson of Belle Vernon;two grandsons;John Eric Anderson of Belle Vernon and Jeremy and his wife Sarah Anderson of Harrisburg;two nephews;Ronald and his wife Lorrain Taylor of Brownsville;and Eugene and his wife Jean Taylor of Pleasant Hills;and one niece;Lois Taylor of Fairchance. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.in the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Blvd.and Marion Ave.;Monessen (724) 684-3700. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 12 noon Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church.
