Steve Petie Spishock; 87; of Pricedale; died Saturday; June 12; 2010; in the Mon Valley Care Center. He was a son of the late John and Mary Varga Spishock; and brother of the late George Spishock; Helen Brand; John Spishock; Julie Spishock; and Ilona Spishock. Surviving are nieces; Mary C. Palko; of Forest Hills; Karen Spishock; of Spain; Donna Spishock; of Belle Vernon; and Barbara (Jerry) Williams; of St. Louis; and nephew; Paul (Bonnie) Brand; of Carroll Township. Lori Sprowls-Staley; 45; of Pittsburgh; formerly of Charleroi; died Monday; Sept. 8; 2008; in UPMC Mercy; Pittsburgh. She was born in North Charleroi on March 21; 1963; the daughter of William Holzapfel; who survives and resides in Charleroi; and the late Mary Joyce Cook Holzapfel. In addition to her father; she is survived by her husband; Richard L. Staley; a brother; Myron D. Sprowls; of Charleroi; and by aunts; uncles and cousins. In addition to her mother; she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Melvin and Katherine Cook; her paternal grandparents; Myron and Laverna Sprowls; one uncle; Robert Cook; and two special cousins; Kim Cook and Jay Torok.
