Vincent G. Winn; 86; of Belle Vernon; passed away Friday; Oct. 28; 2011; at home with his family by his side. He was born Feb. 26; 1925; in Fayette City; son of the late Guy V. Winn and the late Helen (Hogan) Winn. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; life member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 65; and a life member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. Vince enjoyed bowling in both the Legion and Gun Club Bowling Leagues. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant; in 1982 with 36 years of service. Vince was a Navy veteran; gunners mate second class; assigned to PCS 1425 during World War II. He was a former auditor and supervisor for Washington Township. He married Dorothy (Calderone) Winn on Sept. 8; 1952. She preceded him in death on April 5; 2008. Michael Cesovski; 86; of Monessen; passed away Monday; Aug. 25; 2008; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Thursday; Oct. 27; 1921; in Monessen; a son of the late Michael Sr. and Julia Slivka Cesovski. He had been employed as a steelworker by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen plant; retiring in 1984 as a steam plant pump house operator. Mr. Cesovski was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II; having served as a staff sergeant flight instructor. He was a member of Charleroi Presbyterian Church; and American Legion Post No. 28 and the Ukrainian Club; both in Monessen. - Michael Kushner; 94; of Arnold City; passed away Monday; Jan. 27; 2014; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A son of the late John and Elizabeth Kernag Kushner; he was born in Arnold City on Oct. 27; 1919. Michael was a lifelong resident of Arnold City; worked as a coal miner until his retirement in 1981 and served in the Army during World War II. He was Catholic by faith; a member of AmVets in Uniontown and VFW Gold Star Post in Perryopolis. Survivors include his son; Michael B. Kushner; and granddaughter; Mikhayla Kushner both of Fayette City. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Margaret Nalevanko Kushner on Aug. 20; 2008. Ralph Iacoboni; 57; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Monday; Sept. 28; 2009; at 3:40 am at West Penn Hospital; Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 4; 1951; in North Charleroi; he was the son of Ralph V. and Romilda J. Nesti Iacoboni of North Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Iacoboni was a member of St. Sebastian Church; Belle Vernon; a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania; was partner/owner of Val’s Car Wash and Beer Distributor; served as a Belle Vernon Area School Board member for eight years and presently served as a Rostraver Township commissioner. He coached the Belle Vernon Wildcats midget football League for 23 years; was a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic club; Hungarian Club of Pricedale; and the Belle Vernon Musical Society and loved to snow ski and golf with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he is survived by two daughters; Tessa Iacoboni of Philadelphia and Cara Iacoboni of Belle Vernon; a granddaughter; Kazmira Iacoboni; his brother and sister-in-law; Raymond and Rosemary Iacoboni of North Belle Vernon; sister and brother-in-law; Rosemary and Tom Mavrikas of North Belle Vernon; three nieces; Angela Julia; Gina Lucia and Maria Rose Iacoboni; and three nephews; Ryan; Anthony and Dominic Mavrikas.
