Yolan (Adam) Turda; 99; of Rostraver Township; died Sunday; Nov. 27; 2011; in Jefferson Hills Manor. Born May 1; 1912; in Hungary; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Jacob) Adam. Yolan was a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon. She and her late husband; Alex Turda Sr.; owned and operated the former Donner Avenue Motors in Monessen. Yolan loved collecting antiques; selling antiques and living in her big farm house. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines group and especially enjoyed going to the family cottage; the Y Worry Cabin at Whipkey Dam. She is survived by her daughter; Adele (Stephen) Kinneavy; of Pittsburgh; daughter-in-law; Karen Turda; of Monongahela; six grandchildren; Jennifer (Tom) Vogel; of Delmont; Michael Konek Jr.; of Stockton Springs; Maine; Stefanie (Tim) Schneider; of West Newton; Lewis (Amy) Comer Jr.; of Washington; James Comer and David (Becky) Comer; all of Belle Vernon; and seven great-grandchildren; Gabriel; Sasha and Benjamin Vogel; Emily and Jonah Schneider and Austin and Bayleigh Comer. Catholic by faith; William was a self-employed cabinetmaker and prior to that was employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He is survived by his wife; Clemmie Wisyanski Malec; two daughters; Valerie (Ronald) Galilei; of Monessen; and Vanessa (Randy) Ware; of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; Travis; Raquel and Rosalyn Burger; Tara and Shanel Ware; Samantha Moody and Scott Thomas; two stepgrandchildren; Scott Galilei and Lea (Brian) Messina; one brother; Ronald Malec; of Buena Vista; two sisters; Patricia Zelensky; of Charleroi; and Darlene Healey; of Monongahela; and a son-in-law; Rick (Anita) Moody; of Uniontown.
