STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC.; with a Funeral Mass immediately following at Our Lady of the Valley Church with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan as celebrant. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Jordan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also had a passion for music; spending his time playing guitar and DJ’ing. Jordan was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church; Donora; and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was enrolled at Westmoreland County Community College. Michael D. Ross; 57; of North Belle Vernon; died Friday; April 13; 2012; at 8:30 p.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born May 31; 1954; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late John J. Ross Sr. and Ann Mendicino Ross. Mr. Ross was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon and member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He was a retired laborer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and member of the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law; John J. Ross Jr. and wife; Cindy; of North Belle Vernon; Anthony Toby Ross; of North Belle Vernon; and Thomas and Trenise Ross; of Stephens City; Va.; nieces and nephews; Laurie Ross and fiance; Paul Gianinni; Thomas Ross; and Travis Ross; nephew-in-law; Brian Rotheram; great-nieces and nephews; Brook Rotheram; Brianna Rotheram and Brian Rotheram; and godmother; Rose Sabatini. Edward W. Malenowski; 81; of Fairhope; passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday; June 14; 2011. He was born in Washington Township on Feb. 4; 1930; a son of the late Adolph and Sophia Malenowski. Prior to retirement; he was employed by Consol Coal and Page Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. An avid sports fan; he loved fishing; hunting; gardening and his sweets. Survivors include his wife; Mary (Gill) Malenowski; two sons; David Malenowski; of Renfrew; and Michael Malenowski and wife; Linda; of Monessen; a daughter; Julie Patton; of Boston; Pa.; five grandchildren; Jason Patton and wife; Jennifer; Joshua Patton; Justin Patton and Jesse Killosky; and Brandon and Jordan Malenowski; and a brother; Walter Melanowski and wife; Mary Ann; of Belle Vernon.
