Jordan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also had a passion for music; spending his time playing guitar and DJ’ing. Michael D. Ross; 57; of North Belle Vernon; died Friday; April 13; 2012; at 8:30 p.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born May 31; 1954; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late John J. Ross Sr. and Ann Mendicino Ross. Mr. Ross was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon and member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He was a retired laborer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and member of the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law; John J. Edward W. Malenowski; 81; of Fairhope; passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday; June 14; 2011. He was born in Washington Township on Feb. 4; 1930; a son of the late Adolph and Sophia Malenowski. Prior to retirement; he was employed by Consol Coal and Page Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. An avid sports fan; he loved fishing; hunting; gardening and his sweets.
