Ruffs Dale; Rita D. Van Dyke Lynn; age 67 of Ruffs Dale PA; died Monday (4/09/12) in Excela Health- Westmoreland Regional Hospital; Greensburg; PA.

Mrs. Lynn was born December 28; 1944 in Hempfield Township; PA; the daughter of the late Richard and Rewbenia Tepke Peoples. She was a member of St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church of Herminie. Rite was a graduate of the former Sewickley Twp High School; and
had been employed as a Nurses Aid for the Siefiert Personal Care Home in New Stanton.

Rita is survived by her loving family: her husband Glenn W. Lynn; her son; Robert A. Van Dyke and Dawn Pravlik of Scottdale; and by her grandson; Nathan Ryan Van Dyke and Breana Walko. Rita is also survived by four sisters and one brother.

RuffsDale; Glenn W. Lynn; age 84 of RuffsDale; PA; formerly of Perryopolis; died Saturday (7/28/12) in the Baldock Health Care Centre; North Huntingdon; PA.

Mr. Lynn was born February 9; 1928 in Belle Vernon; PA; the son of the late Eli and Alfretta Crable Lynn. Glenn served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He had worked as a truck driver for over 38 years for the Super Valu and Charlie Brothers Companies. He lived most of his life in the Perryopolis area before moving to RuffsDale in 1989.

Glenn is survived by his loving family: His grandson; Nathan Ryan VanDyke and Breana Walko; of New Stanton; his sons; Glenn D. Lynn and Glenn Gossett; and his step-sons; Glenn Lerda and Robert VanDyke and Dawn. In addition to his parents; Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife; Elizabeth Askey in 1990; his second wife; Rita D. Peoples VanDyke Lynn; and his daughter; Kristy VanDyke in 1996; and by his brothers and sisters; Emmerson; Richard; Ralph; Owen; Dale and Donald; Sarah; Edith; Clara and Merrill.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 7 until 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home; 204 Eagle Street; Mount Pleasant. Glenn’s Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday @11:00A M; with the Rev. Ralph A. Mostoller officiating.

Interment with full military rites accorded by the American Legion Post 446 will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Pete Katinsky 92 of Charleroi died Thursday July 27; 2012 at Mon Valley Hosp. Born November 27; 1919 a son of Joseph and Catherine Howal Katinsky. Mr. Katinsky was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant after 45yrs of service. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Katinsky was a Sergeant serving with the 156th Field Artillery Battalion. He received 3 Medals of Honor. Mr. Katinsky was a lifetime member and served serveral terms as a trustee of the American Legion Post # 22 Charleroi. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Peter E. and Virginia Katinsky of Fallowfield Twp. 3 daughters and sons-in-law Connie and David Hayduk of Sedona; AZ; Cathy and Ken Sharpetta of Littleton; CO; and Freida May Platt of Yucca Valley; CA.; a sister Josephine Smith of Newport News; VA; 5 grandchildren Kristi and Kenny Sharpetta; and Peter Brett; Brooke Leigh and Brandon Trent Katinsky; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Proceded in death by his wife Helen Sowinski Katinsky; a brother Mike Katinsky and 4 sisters; Anna Bazilewich; Stella Dusick; and Olga Batchlor. There will be no public visitation. A funeral blessing will be held on Monday July 30; 2012 at 11:00am at Belle Vernon Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Mikonis. Full military rites will be accorded by the Americal Legion Post #22 Charleroi. Joseph Drdul Jr. ; 53; of Monessen; died Wednesday; July 18; 2012 in
Havencrest.

He was born October 14; 1958 in Charleroi ;a son of the late Joseph Drdul Sr. and Mildred Bova Drdul; who survivies. He was a member of Ravens; Eagles; and Ukranian Clubs all of Monessen. He worked as a Truck Driver for TNT Hauling and was a graduate of Monessen
High School with the class of 1976. Joe was an avid sports fan and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He also enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Frenchville; PA. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter- Tara; two brothers-David and wife Nadine Drdul and Michael Drdul all of Monessen. Nephew- David
Drdul Jr. and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father- Joseph Drdul Sr. and a sister- Cheryl
Ann Drdul.
