Joseph V.Rusnak;82;of Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;May 1;2013 at 12:01 am at Mon Valley Hospital. Born December 16;1930 in Monessen;PA he was the son of the late Michael J.and Pauline Wasko Rusnak. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;Mr.Rusnak was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;was retired from US Postal Service;Belle Vernon;where he worked as a letter carrier and was a veteran of Korean War where he served in the US Army. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Belle Vernon Lodge 209;North Belle Vernon Fire Department;Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and was also retired from McShane’s Florist where he was a floral deliveryman. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Bedner Rusnak;son Joseph V.Rusnack Jr.& companion Patty of Monessen;two daughters & sons-in-law;Cheryl & Larry Mabrey of Georgia;Diane & John Gerwell of Monongahela;a brother & sister-in-law;John M.& Pat Rusnak of Myrtle Beach;six grandchildren;six great-grandchildren;a companion Margaret Yencsik and her children Bill & Sandy. He is preceded in death by a brother; Bernard L Rusnak and a sister;Pauline Marks. Kenneth V. Kuklar; 80; of Fairhope; Belle Vernon; passed away Saturday; April 27; 2013; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A son of the late Victor and Violet Redman Kuklar; he was born in Fairhope on June 5; 1932. A lifelong resident of Fairhope; Kenneth was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He retired in 1987 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and; after retirement; he worked in the custodial department of the Belle Vernon Area School District. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 through 1955. He served as chairman of the Washington Township Recreation Board and coached Washington Township Redskins midget league football team. Survivors include his wife of 56 years; Yolanda Mattozzi Kuklar; one daughter and son-in-law; Karen and Mark Ramsier of Belle Vernon; one son and daughter-in-law; Kenneth K. and Carol Ann Kuklar of Uniontown; five grandchildren; Amanda and Alicia Ramsier and Allison; Bethany and Caitlin Kuklar; one sister and brother-in-law; Vickie and David Mesar of Vestaburg; one brother and sister-in-law; William and Linn Kuklar of Gulfport; Miss.; sister-in-law; Connie Vincenzes of Belle Vernon; brother-in-law; Raymond Mattozzi of Plymouth; Ind.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; William and Linda Mattozzi of Belle Vernon; and one granddog; Kringle. Marlene Renee Laidley; 60;of Monessen died April 12; 2013 at home. The daughter of the late Isaac and Jessie Laidley; was born Dec. 9; 1952. Marlene graduated from Monessen High School; Class of 1972. For many years she was employed as a school crossing guard; watching over the children as they traveled to and from school. Veronica Otrosina; 89; of Monessen; died Thursday; Jan. 30; 2014; at Flo’s Personal Care Home in Elco. Mrs.Otrosina was born in Donora on June 26; 1924; a daughter of the late James and Mary Nagy Balogh. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Donora. She also belonged to the Women’s Association of the church. She loved gardening; crocheting; knitting and playing cards. Mrs.Otrosina was also a great storyteller of the past. Mrs.Otrosina was preceded in death by her husband; William R.Otrosina who died in 2012. Survivors include her five children; William (Judy) Otrosina of Watkinsville; Ga.; James(Debra) Otrosina of Monessen; Janelle (Ernest) Halgas of Monessen; Craig (Lisa) Otrosina of Monessen; and Barry (Yvette) Otrosina of Glen Burnie; Md.; eight grandchildren; Susan Otrosina; Jonathan Otrosina; Katherine Broullire; Joyce; James Jr.; Holly and Sarah Otrosina and Amanda Halgas; one brother; Joseph (Olga) Balogh of Carroll Township.
