Dr.A.N.Marston;aged 75 years;the oldest medical practionier of Belle Vernon died Tuesday morning;April 4;1916;at 11 o’clock after a four days’ illness from grip and heart trouble. His widow and three sons survive. Dr.Marston had been located in Belle Vernon for about 33 years and was one of the best known physicians of the upper Monongahela Valley.

Dorothy J. Rex; 86; of Dunlevy; went to be with the Lord on Friday; May 24; 2013; in her home. A daughter of the late Charles B. and Julia Dungan Hail; she was born in Cincinnati; Ohio; on April 2; 1927. A graduate of Belle Vernon High School in 1945; she was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene and had been a Girl Scout Leader. Formerly of Belle Vernon; she had resided the past four years in Dunlevy and prior to that; 23 years in Florida. She was active in the Venice; Florida Church of the Nazarene and taught Sunday school in both Belle Vernon and Venice. Dorothy worked as an LPN in the Venice; Florida Hospital and volunteered at the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Washim; India.
