Born March 11; 1980; in McKeesport; she was the daughter of Albert C. and Kathleen Kampert Burkhart; who survive and reside in Belle Vernon. Mrs. Strother worked as a nurse’s aid; and was a lifelong resident of the Mon Valley. Audrey-Rose was Catholic by faith. Robert Edwin Breakwell; 64; of North Belle Vernon; died Thursday; May 16; 2013; at 3:20 a.m. at his home. Born Oct. 6; 1948; in Uniontown; he was the son of the late James E. and Martha Martin Breakwell. A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 42 years; he was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church; Rostraver Township; where he also served as a deacon and a youth advisor. He was a forklift operator for the former Charlie Brothers and current Super Valu with 40 years of combined service. He was a Vietnam veteran; having served in the U.S. Navy; a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; Belle Vernon Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 209 and served as a volunteer for 17 years at Overly’s Country Christmas. He is survived by his wife; Martha Ann Surovchak Breakwell to whom he would have been married 39 years on Sunday; May 19; 2013; son and daughter-in-law; Matthew and Toni Breakwell of North Belle Vernon; daughter and son-in-law; Rebekah and Randy Foringer of North Belle Vernon; brother and sister-in-law; James Veach Breakwell and wife; Joyce; of Fairchance; sister and brother-in-law; Mary Margaret and Tom Pletcher of Kannapolis; N.C.; three grandchildren; Andrew Foringer; Avianna Foringer and Luke Breakwell; and several nieces and nephews. Carl served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954 as a Private 1st Class for the U.S. Army; 808 Engineers. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; worked as an environmental aide at Monongahela Valley Hospital until he retired in 1997; and was a member of the First Christian Church.
