Mr.Argirakis;22;died as a result of a car accident which occured Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. some 30 miles northwest of Farmington;W.Va.;on Route 250. He was born Jan.2;1965;in North Charleroi;a son of Mike and Mary Scalise Argirakis;who survive and reside in Belle Vernon. His brother;Michael C.Argirakis;also died as a result of the accident. In addition to his parents;survivors include his paternal grandparents;Mary and Gus Argirakis of Monessen. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents;Tony and Constance Scalise. Violet Abbott of Cincinnati;Ohio;formerly of New Florence R.D.2;died suddenly on Wednesday; April 8;1987;at 4:30 p.m.at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Cincinnati. She was 74. Mrs.Abbott was born Oct 26;1912;in New Florence R.D.2;a daughter of the late Samuel and Olive Gamble Marshall. She was a member of the Salvation Army of Newport;Ky. Mrs.Abbott was a veteran;having served with the W.A.C.S.during World War II;and with the Army Air Corps during the Korean Conflict. She was retired from the accounting department of the Internal Revenue Service in Covington;Ky.
