Jerry Aebi of R.D.1 Latrobe;a former Mon Valley resident;died suddenly at his home near Latrobe on Wednesday;Nov.21;1979;at 4 p.m. He was born in Rostraver Township;June 4;1909;a son of the late Frederick and Julia Ostrander Aebi. He was a graduate of Donora High School and was employed by the gas company in Donora before moving to Greene County. He returned to the Mon Valley and was employed at the former Donora Works of U.S.Steel Corp.;until it was closed. He then moved to Collegeville and returned to this area after retirement. Surviving are his widow;Madeline H.Stipes Aebi;four sons;Charles J.of Vincent;Ohio;Zane of Greensburg;Benjamin of R.D.Charleroi and Loius of Virginia;13 grandchildren;three sisters;Mabel Smith of R.D.Belle Vernon;Nellie Simpson of Donora and Lydia Caldwell of Allison Park. Friends are being received Friday;Nov.23 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Bacha Funeral Home;Greensburg. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m.Saturday;Nov.24. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Dell (Tad) Auther; 63; of 209 Water St.; Fayette City; died Thursday at home.
A native of Fayette City; he was preceded in death by his parents; Adam and Ella Smith Auther.
He was a World War II Navy veteran; a retired Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. employee and of the
Protestant faith
Surviving are his wife; Mrs. Marion Astle Arthur; a son; Rickey at home; ; a daughter; Mrs.
Thomas (Ella Marie) Davis of Fayette City; and two grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette
City; with the Rev. Bruce Smith officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
home.
