Mrs.Altier was born Oct.27;1897;in Jeannette;Pa.;a daughter of the late Emile and Augusta Brutout DeBolle. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Monessen;the Belle Vernon Golden Agers;and was a past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary;Monessen;and the Rostraver PTA. Mrs.Altier had resided in Rostraver Township since 1941 and formerly lived in Monessen. She was preceded in death by a brother;Paul Rapp;on May 24;1954;and by her husband;Tony Altier;on May 29;1964. Survivors include a son;Norman Altier;of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.William (Florence) Callaway of Belle Vernon RD 2;and Mrs.Dorothy Cloherty of Clearwater;Fla.;10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
