He was a life-long resident of Belle Vernon and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. He also was a social member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Mr.Atkins was retired from Royal Hydraulics in Bentleyville;where he had worked as a welder. Caterina Angeline of Monongahela R.D.1 died Tuesday Aug.3;1982;at 4:15 a.m.in the Haven Crest Nursing Home;Carroll Twp. Born in Italy;she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Concetta Giuffrida. Mrs.Angeline was a member of St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church;Monessen;its Altar Society and the Christian Mothers. She also was a member of the Regina Lodge of the Monessen Sons of Italy. Before moving to Monongahela;she was a Monessen resident for 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husband;Vincenzo Angeline;in 1970 and a grandson;James Angeline;in 1954. Surviving are three sons;Silvio and Romeo Angeline of Monessen and Julio of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.John (Theresa) Gatto;with whom Mrs.Angeline made her home;and Mrs.Frank (Josephine) Bruni of Monessen;10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member and deacon of Marion Presbyterian Church. Mrs.Augustine was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph on Sept.28;1976.
