The Rev.David J.Aldridge;80;of Louisville;Ohio;died Monday;Dec.21;1998. Born April 21;1918;in Arnold City;he was a son of the late Henry and Ella Redmon Aldridge. In 1939;he married and moved to Boston to attend Eastern Nazarene College. He was ordained as a minister while pastoring his first church in Smithton. Rev.Aldridge served subsequent churches in Sharon;from 1958-1968;Mineral City;Ohio;1968 to 1974;Richmond Heights;Ohio;from 1974 to 1981;and Bay City;Mich.;from 1981 to 1984. He retired in 1981 and moved to Louisville. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Veramae;in 1985;and by three brothers and sisters. Survivors include his daughter;Charlene Aldridge of Dallas;Texas;a son and daughter-in-law;Rev.David and Kimberly Aldridge of Columbus;Ohio;a granddaughter;Ashley;one brother;Theodore Aldridge of Pennsylvania;and five sisters;Maude James;Edith Wolf;Mildred Bennett and Pearl Hamilton;all of Pennsylvania;and Betty Joseph of Indiana. Thomas E.Abbott;79;of 643 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Nov.11;1998;in Jefferson Hospital. He was born Dec.21;1918;in New Eagle;a son of the late Robert H.and Ruth Ann Grundy Abbott. He was a resident of the Belle Vernon community since 1946. Hhe was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He and his wife operated Abbott’s News Store;which was located on Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon;retiring in September 1982 after 20 years in business. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;and a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and belle Vernon Area Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post 699. He was a former school director for the Belmarette School District for four years. He was also a school bus driver for the Belle Vernon Area School District. He was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Ages Assembly. He was an attendent at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home for several years. She was born in Czechoslovakia on Dec.23;1911;a daughter of the late John and Anna Hrietz Seykoski. Mrs.Annonio was a resident of Monessen most of her life;having worked as a custodian for the City of Monessen in the municipal building for over 20 years. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Post 1190 Ladies Auxiliary in Monessen.
