He was a former resident of Brownsville. Mr.Baird had been as employee of the Monongahela Railroad;retiring in 1953. He was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church. Mr.Baird was preceded in death by his wife;Lenora Thompson Baird;on June 9;1977;and one son;Jack Baird;in July 1975. Mr.Baird is survived by four daughters;Mrs.Virginia Burry;with whom he made his home;Mrs.Vivian Hite of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Clifford (Grace) Shrader of Monessen;and Mrs.Sheldon (Geraldine) Morningstar of Wilkinsburg;and 12 grandchildren;and 17 great-grandchildren. Mr.Benedetti had been employed as a foreman at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel No.4 Hot Mill;Allenport Plant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and was past board member and president of both the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly and the Charleroi Golden Agers. He was also a memeber of the Monessen and Fayette City Golden Agers and the Senior Citizens of Monessen.
