Survivors include one sister;
Laura Ornot of Charleroi; and
one brother; Walter Halliday of
Donora.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
her husband; John Bolchak;
four brothers; Martin; John;
Joseph and Stanley Markovitch; and two sisters; Helen Gidick and Sophie Raymond.

Ave.; Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A wake service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home.

She was born Feb.14;1914;in Clarion County;a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Charlotte Mae Scheetz Rudolph. She was a member of the First Christian Church;Fayette City. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;John Stanley Lindey in 1973;and her second husband;Franklin P.Biggie in 1993. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law;Charlotte and Russell Brown of Fayette City;two sons and daughters-in-law;Kenneth (Chipper) and Bobbie Lindey of Fayette City;and John William and Susan Lindey of Delmont;one sister;Cora Thalman of Russellton;and a close friend;Roberta Lauderbaugh. 1998; at 2:35 p.m.
Born Oct. 16; 1909; in Markleysburg; Mr. Bird had lived in
Belle Vernon until he moved
into the nursing home due to ill
health. He had been ill for a
lengthy time.
He was a member of the Belle
Vernon Church of the
Nazarene.
Mr. Bird was retired from the
Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; retiring
in 1972 because of illness.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II.
Surviving are his wife; Eva
Stricklin Bird; and a sister; Dorothy Mitchel of West Virginia.

Harry W. (Hank) Ray; 82; of Fallowfield Township; died Thursday; April 25; 2002; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 1; 1919; in Charleroi; a son of the late Harry Ray and Lillian Anderson Ray Saunders. Mr. Ray was Presbyterian by faith and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of Iron City Brewery in Pittsburgh. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law; Harry S. and Donna Jean Ray of Worthington; Ohio; and James M. Ray of Fallowfield Township; one brother and sister-in-law; Jack and Betty Lou Ray of Beaver Creek; Ohio; three sisters and a brother-in-law; Dolores Rockidge of North Charleroi; Helen and Leonard Kokkila of Speers Hill; and Betty Maki of Dunlevy; two grandchildren; Steven and Mariea Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Anna Backo Ray; in 1993. Friends will be received in the CARL J.
