Katherine M.Lape Cmar;55;of 827 Oakland Ave.;Charleroi;died Sunday;Sept.30;in Washington Hospital. She was born in Belle Vernon May 10;1924;daughter of Mary A.Evans Lape and the late Harry C.Lape. A member of the First Christian Church of Charleroi;she had spent most of her life in Charleroi. Surviving are her mother;her husband;Edward A.Cmar;one son;Paul T.Lape of Charleroi;one brother;Paul A.lape of Belle Vernon;two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Joseph A.Caterino of 402 Third St.;Monessen;died Thursday;June 7;1979;in West Penn Hospital;Pittsburgh;after a lengthy illness. He was 62. He was the son of the late Dominick and Antonette Yanitto Caterino. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel of Monessen;and was a resident of Monessen all his life. He was preceded in death by two sisters;Antonette Rogers;who died in 1976;and Mary Caterino who died in 1930. He was a member of St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen;the French Club of Monessen and The Retired Steelworkers of Monessen. Survivors include his widow;Anna McLaughlin Caterino;two daughters;Mrs.William (Joann) Leber;Hurley S.D.;and Donna Caterino of Hunker;Pa.;two sons;Joseph A.;a member of the USAF;stationed in Elkhart Ind.;and Donald R.;Carroll Twp.;two sisters;Carmella Cardo of Yorkville;Ohio and Cecelia (Sis) Pritchard;Monessen;and a sister-in-law;Norma McLaughlin;who resides at the home of the deceased. which he was a member for more than 25 years. He had owned and operated a plumbing and heating business in the Belle Vernon area for many years. Bernard (Little Jazz) Crenshaw;2145 Center Ave.;Pittsburgh;died Monday;April 2;1979;in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 56. Born May 13;1922;in Monessen;he was the son of the late Clinton Crenshaw Sr.and Rosetta Dillard Crenshaw. Mr.Crenshaw was a well-known pianist;performing with the Jerry Betters and Harold Betters orchestras of Pittsburgh and the Mon Valley area. He was a member of the Musicians Association of Pittsburgh. Mr.Crenshaw is survived by three brothers;Leroy Stamper of Detroit;Mich.;Carl Payne and Clinton Crenshaw;Jr.;both of Monessen;a son;Terrel Crenshaw of Washngton;Pa.;a devoted friend;Lottie Jones of Monessen;and a number of nieces;nephews and friends.
