Mrs.Edith V.Anderson Ercegovich;77;of 300 Mikula Road (Arnold City);Belle Vernon died at 11:10 a.m.Thursday;Aug.9;1979;in Uniontown Hospital. A native of Washington Township;Fayette County;she was a daughter of Theodore and Ella Rowe Biles;born March 4;1902. Mrs.Ercegovich was a Protestant by faith. Her husband;Joseph Ercegovich;died in 1970. A son;William Anderson;died in 1947. Robert W.Elder;a past member and past president of North Belle Vernon Borough Council;died suddenly Sunday;Jan.14;1979 at 12:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp.  Mr.Elder;75;resided at 309 Henry St.;Belle Vernon.  Born in Star Junction;April 13;1903;he was the son of the late Alvin and Helen Whitelaw Elder.  Mr.Elder lived in the Belle Vernon area since 1936.  Mr.Elder was an employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Monessen plant;retiring on March 4;1967;with 45 years of service.  He was a member of the First Christian Church;and was a former member of the Belle Vernon Public Library Board.  Mr.Elder is survved by his widow;Ruth Mossburg Elder;and one brother;A.W. She was the former owner of the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church;Monessen;where she was a member and treasurer of the Foreign Missionary Society;and a member of the Star of Bethlehem Chapter 34;Order of the Eastern Star;where she served as past matron. She was preceded in death by her husband Beverly C.Draper Sr.;two sisters;Elizabeth Batch and Hilda Dudley;and three brothers;William;Alfred and Fritz Christian.
