A native of Washington Township;Fayette County;she was a daughter of Theodore and Ella Rowe Biles;born March 4;1902. Mrs.Ercegovich was a Protestant by faith. Mr.Elder;75;resided at 309 Henry St.;Belle Vernon. Born in Star Junction;April 13;1903;he was the son of the late Alvin and Helen Whitelaw Elder. Mr.Elder lived in the Belle Vernon area since 1936. Mr.Elder was an employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Monessen plant;retiring on March 4;1967;with 45 years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church;and was a former member of the Belle Vernon Public Library Board. Mr.Elder is survved by his widow;Ruth Mossburg Elder;and one brother;A.W. (Ted) Elder of Fayette City. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Guy Elder;in Dec.1976;and a sister;Elsie Winters;in Dec.1970.
