Joseph M.Danek;75;of Meldon Avenue;Donora;died Thursday;Dec.2;1999. He was born in Donora on Dec.15;1923;a son of the late John and Helen Kopack Danek. Mr.Danek was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish of Donora and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired steelworker. Survivors include a sister;Stella Benyo of Latrobe;and several nieces and nephews. In adition to his parents;he was preceded in death by four brothers;Anthony;Charles;Stanley and Ted Danek. Mary B.Deambrogi;77;of Charleroi;died Saturday;Oct.9;1999;in Adult Assisted Living;Dunlevy. Born Dec.6;1921;in Charleroi;she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Cahaday Bertovich. She was formerly employed at the Charleroi plant of Corning Glass. She was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church;a member and trustee of the Charleroi Goodwill Club;the Golden Agers and Senior CItizens;both of Charleroi;and the Catholic Sokol Lodge 27. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law;Sally Ann and Clark Harrison of Murrysville;one granddaughter;Hayley Harrison;three sisters;Frances Dietz of Elco;Mrs.Andrew (Ann) Rusnak of Monessen and Joan LaRue of Pittsburgh;and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Sergius;in 1995;and by three brothers;John and Paul Bertovich;and Frank Bertovich;who died in infancy. Stephen Dubinsky;76;of Monessen;died Sunday;Oct.3;1999;in Shadyside Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Dubinsky was born May 16;1923;in Monessen;the son of the late Steve and Catherine Garber Dubinsky;and had been a lifelong resident. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.and was a member of St.Mary Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen and the American Legion of Belle Vernon. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He is survived by his wife;Goldie Stewart Dubinsky;a daughter;Mrs.Paul Edward (Faye) Toth of R.D.1;of Smithton;a sister;Margaret Kuchera of Charleroi;a brother;Arthur Dubinsky of Fairhope;and a grandson;Matthew S.Toth of Harrisburg. Besides his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;John Dubinsky. Mr.Davis was born March 31;1972;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;a son of Annette Cranford Davis and the late James Delmar Davis. He was Christian by faith and was an avid body builder. He was an all-star football player for Monessen High School and won a full football scholarship to Ohio University;where he attended two years before an injury.
