Norma Jean (Nin) Ehrhart of Belle Vernon R.D.2 died suddenly on Saturday;Feb.7;1987;of an apparent heart attack. She was 59. Mrs.Ehrhart was born April 6;1927;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Nichols Molle. A resident of Washington Township for over 40 years;she was a member of the Mon Valley Women’s Softball Association;having been active in that organization from 1972 to 1977. She had played with the Naomi Senkos and Washington Township softball teams. For 30 years;Mrs.Ehrhart operated the former Altier’s Sunoco Station on Route 201 in Rostraver Township. After the station closed in 1981;she worked up until the time of her death at Val’s Service Station on Route 906 in Rostraver Township. In addition to her parents whe was preceded in death by a sister;Betty Ehrhart;in 1981. For the past 40 years;she had resided with William G.and Florence Callaway of Belle Vernon R.D.2;who survive. Also surviving are two brothers;Emile Molle of Monessen and Joseph Molle of Orange Springs;Fla.;and several nieces and nephews;three of whom are William N.Callaway;Larry A.Callaway and Beverly Belczyk;all of Belle Vernon R.D.2. Virginia Edwards of 251 Ninth St.;Charleroi;died Saturday;April 19;1986;at 2 p.m.in the Presbyterian Medical Center;Washington;Pa. She was 81. Mrs.Edwards was born March 25;1905;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Frank H.and Marie Neil Vance. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse;retiring in 1969 from Charleroi-Monessen Hospital with 18 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church;AARP;Golden Agers;and Senior Citizens;all of Charleroi;and the Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurses’ Association. In addition to her parents;whe was preceded in death by her husband;George Wallace Edwards;on Dec.16;1943. Surviving are one son;T.Vance Edwards;of Memphis;Tenn.;and two grandchildren. Mrs.Catherine Rade Eversburg of Monessen St.;Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;July 17;1985;at 9:47 p.m. in Lower Bucks Hospital;Bristol;Pa. She was 85. Mrs.Eversburg was born March 31;1900;in Pennsylvania. She was a member of St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;the Catholic Daughters of America;the American Legion Auxiliary;and the Senior Citizens;all of Belle Vernon. Her husband;Rudolph Eversburg;died on March 9;1974. Mrs.Evans was a member of St.John the Divine Orthodox Church of Monessen. She was a retired employee of Corning Glass of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband;Russell S.Evans in 1966 and a daughter;Mary Jane Robertson. Elma Emelo of Fayette City R.D.1 (Brownstown) died Tuesday;Aug.14;1984;at 11:55 a.m.in the Uniontown Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 66. Mrs.Emelo was born June 24;1918;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Federer Greenlee.
