Mary Ann Katchmark Ercegovich;64;of 10 Ohio St.;Pricedale;died Thursday;July 10;1997;at 7 p.m. in St.Francis Central Medical Center;Pittsburgh. Born Oct.6;1932 in Pricedale;she was a daughter of the late Walter and Teresa Popovich Katchmark. A lifelong resident of Pricedale;she was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;the Legion of Mary and Third Order of St.Francis. Mrs.Ercegovich retired as postmaster at the U.S.Post Office in Pricedale in 1993. A graduate of Rostraver High School;she was a member of the National Association of Postmasters. Mrs.Ercegovich was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the AARP. She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and also served as a volunteer with various area food banks. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Glenn Evans in 1975;a son;Duane Evans in 1991;and three brothers;Harry;Duane and Cloyd Philippi. Wilfred Erbie Easton Jr.;75;of Charleroi;died suddenly Tuesday;June 25;1996;at his home. He was born on June 28;1920;in Belle Vernon;the son of the late Wilfred E.and Alice Marie Schmidt Easton Sr. Mr.Easton graduated from Charleroi High School in 1938;attended Randolph Macon Academmy and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church;the B.P.O.E.Lodge 494;of which he was a 56-year member.V.F.W. Post 167;American Legion Post 22 and the Charleroi Sportsmen Club;all of Charleroi. He was also a member of the Monongahela Country Club. Mr.Easton was a World War II veteran;having served in the U.S.Army in the European Theater. He practiced pharmacy for more than 47 years. After receiving his degree in pharmacy;he worked with his father;who owned and operated Easton’s pharmacy of Charleroi. When his father died in 1968;he owned and operated the pharmacy until he retired. Survivors include his wife;Dorothy Sible Easton;a daughter and son-in-law;Nancy and Robert Gottheld of Jeannette;three sons and a daughter-in-law;Thomas Hussman of Maryland;Jack and Carol Easton of Sandy;Utah;and Dr.Eric Easton of Carroll Township;and five grandchildren.
