John Faryna; who survives.

daughters; Mrs. Gordon (Ella
Louise) Watkms of Speers and
Mrs. Gary (Barbara Ann) Hollier of Eighty Four; two sons and
daughters-in-law; Michael
John and Deborah Faryna of
Donora and Frank and Delia
Faryna of Ellsworth; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by a
daughter; JoAnn Axton; a
granddaughter; Cheryl Ann Axton; and a brother; Frank
Tanski.

A lifelong resident of Monessen;Mr.Foulks retired Jan.31;1983;from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had worked in the central electric department. Ernestine Barnes Freeman of 478 Clarendon Ave.;Monessen;died Thursday;Oct.9;1997. Born Nov.19;1929;in Whitsett;she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian Barnes. Formerly of Arnold City;Mrs.Freeman was a graduate of Marion High School in what is now the Belle Vernon Area School District. She had lived in Monessen all of her adult life and worked at the Brookvale Manufacturing facility until it closed in February 1988. A former member of Fellowship Baptist Church;she was a member of Union Baptist Church at the time of her death. Survivors include her husband;Andrew R.Freeman;one daughter;Mrs.Floyd T.(Janet) Carter of Raleigh;N.C.;two sons;Andrew Freeman Jr.of Toldeo;Ohio;and Mark Freeman of Dothan;Ala.;a grandson;Rodney Freeman Jr.;two daughters-in-law;Sherion Freeman of Dothan;Ala.;and Gloria Freeman of Monongahela;and two sisters-in-law;Rosa McCarthy and Carlene Barnes;both of Belle Vernon. Born May 26;1930;in Arnold City;she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann Vlasic Muzina. Mrs.Ferencz was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church;Monessen. She had worked as a cook and waitress at Villa Nova Restaurant;Monessen;for many years. In addition to her prents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Andrew Ferencz in 1969;a sister;Theresa Hudock and two brothers;Joseph and Jack Muzina. Tony Filardi;83;of Monessen;died Thursday;May 15;1997;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 31;1913;in Monessen;a son of the late Salvatore and Josephine Scaletta Filardi. He was Catholic by faith and a lifelong resident of Monessen. He retired after 24 years of service for Page Steel and Wire;Monessen. He later worked at the Charleroi Plant of Corning Glass. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Derna A.Filardi on March 5;1989;and one brother;Joseph Filardi Sr.on April 22;1984.
