Born May 6;1933;in Adairville;Ky.;he was a son of the late Booker T.and Beatrice Jones Farmer. An employee of Koppers Inc.;Monessen;Mr.Farmer had lived in the Mon Valley for more than 50 years;coming here from Kentucky. He was a member of Elks Okay Lodge 697 of Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a daughter;Denise Farmer. Survivors include his wife;LaVone Phillips Farmer;three sons;John Robert Farmer Jr.of York;Donniel Farmer and Darrin Lee Farmer;both of Monessen;one daughter;Brooke Farmer of Monessen;two brothers and sisters-in-law;William E.and Betty Farmer of Las Vegas;Nev.;and Thomas L.and Wilda Farmer of New Jersey;one sister;Ida Mae Farmer Allums of Monessen;and three grandchildren;Brittany and Darrin Farmer and Channeil Taylor;all at home. Oliver LaLa Feehan;80;of Westgate Manor;Monessen;died Monday;March 11;1996;in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mr.Feehan was born on May 19;1915;in Monessen;a son of the late Thomas and Olive Ferguson Feehan. Presbyterian by faith;Mr.Feehan was a lifelong resident of Monessen. He was also a retired steward of the Charleroi Elks and a member of the Monessen Elks Lodge 733. Mr.Feehan was a sergeant with the U.S.Marine Corps and served in World War II during the Pacific Theater War. Mr.Feehan was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by cousins. Sept. 2; 1995; at the Hospice
Center in Palm Beach County;
Fla.
Born Sept. 19; 1913; in Belle
Vernon; he was the son of the
late Milano and Teresa
Angelina Piantini Franceschi.
Mr. Franceschi moved to
Florida last year; having spent
the rest of his life in the Belle
Vernon area.
He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; Belle Vernon.
Mr. Franceschi served 45
months with the U.S. Army
during World War II; serving
three years and two months in
the African and European
theatres of operation. He received nine battle stars and
other decorations and participated in the invasions of north
Africa; Sicily and southern
France.
He was a life member; active
more than 51 years; of Belle
Vernon American Legion Post
659; where he held the post of
commander several times since
first being elected to it in 1953.
He held many other offices in
the post.
He was a life member of the
North Belle Vernon Volunteer
Fire Department and had memberships in the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club and Post 699
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was retired from the
Monessen Southwestern Railroad Company of WheelingPittsburgh Steel Corp.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
first wife; Margaret; in 1965;
four brothers; Oscar; Eugene;
Lee and Amerigo Franceschi;
and one sister; Sabina Pupilli.
Surviving are his wife; Magdelin Wisyanski Franceschi;
one daughter; Mrs. Patrick
(Elsa Tosca) Sauritch of Jupiter; Fla.; one son and daughterin-law; Milan (M.J.) and Melanie Franceschi of Franklin
Park; one stepson; Randy Ondulick of Monongahela; one
brother and sister-in-law; Albert and Mary Franceschi of
Belle Vernon; one sister; Mrs.
Neal (Elsie) Guadagnino of
Belle Vernon; and three granddaughters and one grandson.

Mr.Forsberg was a member of Monessen Lutheran Church and the Croatian Club of Monessen. He spent most of his adult life in Monessen. He retired in 1970 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Plant in Monnessen. He retired in 1974 from the
former Monessen plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation;
where he was employed
as a crane operator.
Mr. Faust had been a resident
of Belle Vernon since 1990;
coming there from Monessen.
He was a member of the First
Baptist Church; Monessen.
In addition to his parents; he
was also preceded in death by
his first wife; Helen; a daughter;
Lillian Davis; and a brother;
Paul Faust.
Surviving are his wife;
