Mr. Greene was born July 26;1916; in
Belle Vernon; a son of the late Harry
and Sarah Lytle Greene.
He retired in 1978 from employment
with the Bethem Machine Shop in Belle
Vernon.
Mr. Greene was a lifelong resident of
the Belle Vernon area and was a U.S.
Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are three brothers; Robert
Greene of Okamulgee; Okla.; Dalton
Greene of Belle Vernon; and George
Greene of Charleroi; three sisters; Mrs.
Fred (Dorothy) Liebl; Mrs. Michael
(Marge) Pello and Miss Jean Greene;
all of Belle Vernon; and four friends;
Juanita; Nancy and Barbara Stinogle
and Joyce Livingstone; all of Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received in the Shelby
D. Ferguson Funeral Home; 700 Broad
Ave.; Belle Vernon; Thursday from 7 to
9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Fayette City died at 6:42 p.m.
Wednesday; May 2; 1984; at
Jefferson Center Hospital.
She was 81.
Mrs. Coins was married at
the age of 17 to Thomas
Coins; who survives. The couple was married for 63 years.
She was born Sept. 9; 1902;
the daughter of the late Chess
and Rena Burnett.
Mrs. Coins was a resident
of Fayette City for the past 14
years; moving there from
Ocean City; N.J.
She was a member of the
Union Baptist Church of
Monessen; where she was active in all church functions.
Mrs. Coins had served on the
Usher Board; Deaconness
Board and Missionary Board
of the church for many years. In addition to her husband;she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law;Willie and Rebecca Burnett of Fayette City;a niece;Billie J.Hill of Cleveland;Ohio;two great-nephews;Kenneth and Steven Hill;both of Cleveland;one great-great nephew;Paris Hill of Cleveland and a host of friends and relatives. Friends are being received from 2 to 9 p.m.Friday at the Union Baptist Church of Monessen;where funeral services will be held Saturday;May 5;at 11 a.m.with Rev.Wiley of the Mount Rose Baptist Church;Uniontown;officiating. Born Oct.21;1923;in Fairhope;he was a son of the late Wilbert and Bertha Grant. Mr.Grant was a World War II veteran;serving with the United States Army. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints;the Belgium Club;Russian Club;Italia-Unita Club;VFW Post 167 and American Legion Post 22;all of Charleroi. Mr.Grant also held memberships in the Slavic Citizens Club and French Club of North Charleroi and the American Legion of Belle Vernon. ruler of the Okay Elks Lodge
No. 697; Monessen.
Mr. Garner was a former
member of the Golden Agers
and the Retired Mine
Workers of the Yablonski memorial Clinic. A member of the United Mine Workers of America;he was a former financial secretary of the united Mine Workers Local Union in Pricedale. Mr.Garner was preceded in death by three brothers;William;Thomas and Garfield Garner;and by one sister;Carrie Turner. Surviving are his wife;Nancy Lillian Garner of Arnold City;five sons;James w.
