Mrs.Giala wa born March 10;1887;in Mesta;Chios;Greece;a daughter of the late Andrea and Calliope Roumbakin Patricousis. She was the oldest living member of St.Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen. Her husband;James Isederis Gialas;who died Oct.9;1973;was one of the founding pioneers of St.Spyridon Church. Mrs.Gialas had been a resident of Stockdale from 1920 until moving to Belle Vernon in 1952. In addition to her husband and her parents;she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
