She was born Dec.4;1906;in Penn;a daughter of the late William and Catherine Roth Rutkoswki. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Nello Ralph Gavazzi in April 1963;and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She resided in Belle Vernon for the past 52 years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law;Ralph Nello and Janet Lee Gavazzi of North Huntingdon;one daughter;Mrs.Cal (Vivian) Bernardo of Belle Vernon;and one sister;Lucy Surdy of the state of California. Jack (Bill) Gaber;69;of Pittsburgh (Brookline);died Wednesday;Jan.16;1991;at 2:15 a.m.in St.Francis Medical Center;Pittsburgh. He was born Dec.5;1921;in Herminie;a son of the late Frank and Helena Dernoshek Gaber. He was a member of St.Mary’s Orthodox Church;South Side;Pittsburgh;and the Brookline American Legion. Mr.Gaber;who had lived in Pittsburgh the past 45 years;retired in 1979 from Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp.;Pittsburgh. He was U.S.Army veteran of World War II;having served as a sergeant in the European Theatre. Survivors include his wife Helen Soroka Gaber;with whom he celebrated 43 years of marriage in June 1990;one daughter;Mrs.John (Marilyn) Maskaly of Pittsburgh;and two brothers;Frank and Edward Gaber;both of the state of California.
