Mosezele (Offutt) Gibbs;47;of Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Aug.21;1994;at 7 p.m.in the Forbes Health System Hospice;Pittsburgh;after a lengthy illness. Mrs.Gibbs was born April 24;1947;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Harvey B.Offutt;who died June 23;1983;and Maude Holland Offutt;who survives and reside in Belle Vernon. A Baptist by faith;she was a 1966 graduate of Bellmar High School. Surviving;in addition to her mother;are a daughter;Marva Gibbs at home;four sisters;Mrs.William (Carlene) Barnes of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Donald (Mildred) Johnson of New Albany;Ind.;Mrs.George (Yvonne) Roney of Indianapolis;Ind.;and Mrs.Danny (Maxine) Cummings of Camden;N.J.;three brothers;Albert Offutt Sr.of Indanapolis;Ind.;Howard Offutt of Jeffersonville;Ind.and Herbert Offutt Sr.of Jeffersonville;Ind.;her father-in-law and mother-in-law;Rev.and Mrs.Marvin Gibbs of Sharon;and sisters-in-law;Cheryl Gibbs and Sandra Maven;both of Washington;D.C. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday until 1 p.m.;the hour of services in the funeral home;with the Rev.Marvin Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

He was born in North Charleroi March 1; 1944; a son of the
late George Geary and Lillian
McCahon Geary of Brownstown; Fayette City.
Mr. Geary was employed by
the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel
Co. at the Steubenville; Ohio;plant. He was a member of the
Holy Spirit Roman Catholic
Church; Fayette City.
He is survived by two sons;
Daniel Geary of Burgettstown
and David D. Geary of West
Newton; two daughters; Carmel Kovach and husband Michael of Belle Vernon and Michelle Geary of West Newton;
two brothers; James Geary of
Baltimore; Md.; and Robert Geary of Bentleyville; three sisters; Janice Francis of Pittsburgh; Loretta Yancoskie of
Fayette City R.D. and Eleanor
Burke of Columbus; Ohio; and
three grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City; Monday
and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. and Wednesday until 9:30 a.m.;when a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home;followed by Mass at 10 a.m.in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
