Mr.Halgas was born June 21;1925;in Pricedale;a son of the late Peter and Mary Wozniak Halgas. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was a member of St.Sebstian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Mr.Halgas was also a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659;Belle Vernon American Legion Post 3557;the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club;and the Charleroi Slovak Club. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Navy. Mr.Halgas was employed by Corning Glass;Charleroi Plant;as a sprayer and a screener.
